On the province’s northern coast, 40 kilometres away from Puerto Padre and 70 kilometres from the provincial capital, we find Covarrubias, which has a beach hotel infrastructure. It is characterized by superb morphological conditions: virgin vegetation and strips of sand with an average of eight meters wide, where bathers enjoy its fine cream-colored sand. The area is benefited by a nearly six-kilometre long coral reef, located some 1.5 kilometres away from the shore.
