The 3 star Hotel Club Amigo Costasur has 131 air conditioned rooms with private bathroom, satellite TV, 111 of them are hotel rooms the other 20 are bungalows equipped with minibar. A restaurant with Buffet service and one specialized in Italian specialties. Four bars, a night club, swimming pool, medical services, shop, games room, safe deposit box, currency exchange, parking lot, rental of aquatic bicycles and snorkelling equipment, kayaking and tourism bureau. The Costasur reopened in early 2008 after being closed for a much-needed overhaul.

Located only 12km south of Trinidad, the 4 kilometer long Playa Ancon beach is fabulous, with white sand and pavonine waters fringed with palms offering shade. Cubans come to picnic, but for the most part Playa Ancon beach is the preserve of tourists at the all-inclusive hotels.
